PAD 18

Postby Mike Farley » Fri 18 Jan 2013, 17:57

Day 18 and snow. Not much at first, but it was quite thick by mid afternoon when I headed for the nearby woods. As soon as I saw this holly growing at the foot of a tree, I was fairly certain that it would end up being shot of the day.

On the 365project website, Nina suggested that I could hav cropped the image a bit harder, so I have redone it as a square format and lost some of the negative space on the right. WDYT?

I think I agree, the second one feels a little stronger but it's a close thing.

Not sure - there are elements I prefer in both. The square format is good but to me the bottom part dominates a bit too much.
