Is Spring Really Here?

Is Spring Really Here? It was so cold this morning that there was ice on the water!
Bright sunny day today soon melted the ice.
Robins were there to greet me, and I managed to get them singing.
Couple of days ago when it was a little warmer, I found some frogs mating in our garden!
Pink Camelias are starting to open out as are a few yellow Forsythia maluch on a bedraggled bush.
Would love to see some of your Spring images!

Didnt realise spring was even here before the "beast from the east" arrived. Have you checked on your frogs since the thaw?

Hi Paul,
Following the thaw, I was pleasantly surprised to find three more frog spawns.
Also found a female frog stuck in the spout of a watering can that was half full as she tried to get out after she had some how got into the can. Lucky for her that I decided to use the watering can, found her Followed by a rescue.
Any one want some frog spawn?
Looks like the Beast from the East is back!

It certainly is ! This is part of the view from our house this morning... and was only visible after the snow started clearing.

That's an amazing scene, Rose. Almost as if the Alps have been relocated to Somerset.

Hi Rose,
Lovely image brought to life by the gale blowing up a little snow storm in the fore ground.

Here is what my garden looked like a couple of days ago.
Couldn't sit on the garden chairs to drink my Pims.
And our cat decided to put on it's snow googles!

It was SUMMER yesterday!!!
It was surprising how some small blue wild flowers brought in the butterflies and bumble bees to our garden.
Bumble bees were too fast for me to capture on camera.
However, I was able to get close up images of the 3 species of butterfly that visited.
Hand held Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 on shutter priority.
Images cropped but no processing; not even auto brightness/ contrast!
