Re: Victorian Gent
Alternate version. Two sliders moved in Lightroom.
Re: Victorian Gent
And also the Victorian Gent.
Probably the first version.
Best wishes,
Iggy

Re: Victorian Gent
My preference would be about half way between the two versions, and perhaps with very slight Sepia applied.

Something like this? I am not sure about the sepia.

Yep, that's a nice balance.
My thought yesterday was it might benefit from the slight desaturation, but today me disagrees with yesterday me.

On reflection, I prefer the updated version as well. The previous incarnation of the image lacked subtlety but I had not got around to finding a solution. Your comment helped me work out what I needed to do. Thanks.

One of the changes I made was a small adjustment using Lightroom's Red Hue slider, nudging it across to the right. It has given the skin tones a more realistic tone, which is what I think you were after.
PS - Interesting website, BTW. I like the way that you use graphics for the links and the succinct descriptions. Bouldering sounds like fun. I had not heard of it before.

I agree, that's probably what it was.

Thanks. I have future plans to expand on the concept to a fully rendered environment which can be explored, but obviously that's a much greater effort, especially whilst maintaining simplicity/usability.

That sounds quite a challenge. I look forward to seeing how the concept evolves.
Re: Victorian Gent
I like the second image (reflects a rather Victorian used appearance) but image three is growing on me (it looks a lot more natural).
Iggy is right about a panel for next years exhibition. Will it be print (which I'd like to see) or PDI?
