Iggy and I hooked up to capture the 3Sixty team when they came to Croydon. These guys were performing some great stunts, here one of them is jumping over a bar which is aprox 110cm high. He is doing it without a run up or ramps!

Re: Team 3Sixty
Hi Frank,
Good to see your image in B&W of the stunt cyclist nicely captured at the apex of his jump. I guess you were shooting at f4 with your Canon to blur the background.
I have put one of my colour images on my SOTW. This was taken with my Panasonic fz1000 with shutter priority.

Hope to see you tomorrow.

Iggy

Hi Iggy, yes I was using the 24-105mm at f4 but because I was using it at 24mm it didn't throw out the background. I used ACDSEE, editor to add lens blur. I went for BW because of the bright shop signs. Poetic licence, I could have done it a bit better if I thought it worth while!

Re: Team 3Sixty
Impressive. Both the standing jump and capturing the subject perfectly positioned.
What was the shutter speed? There appears to be some motion blur, although that could be due to the changes made in post.

Thanks Mike, the shutter speed was 1/80 s ISO 100, f4.
