POTW 15 March 2020 - Where the Toilet Rolls Were

Our news in recent months has been dominated by single topics. Three months ago, no one had heard about Coronavirus. Back then, it was all about Brexit. True, Prince Andrew made a valiant effort to divert the public’s attention, but even he could not sustain the momentum for more than a few weeks. People are unlikely to forget Coronavirus for a while, but some aspects such as the shortage of toilet rolls will quickly fade from memory. In time, the virus will pass and although there are undoubtedly a few difficult months ahead, we will eventually be preoccupied with something else.
