POTW 16 August 2020 - Sunflower

Taken in my garden while I was making a comparison between two macro lenses, a modern one one with AF and the other a vintage model which focusses manually. Apart from a tendency by the older lens for veiling flare when the light was coming from the wrong direction, it is a good performer and belies its modest price tag. This image is from the AF lens as I found the result more aesthetically pleasing. That said, I was as much interested in experimenting with technique when shooting handheld and the subject is swaying in the breeze.
