Shanghai, China – Skyscrapers

A few years ago, I attended a conference in Shanghai, China. Arrived via a direct flight from London.
The conference hotel was in the new half of the city while the old city was on the other side of the river.
I did have a couple of half days to explore a little bit of the vast city.
The new city does have a lot of skyscrapers, some of which were visible from my hotel window.
The street view of the skyscrapers was also impressive.

Shanghai, China – City Tour

I did take an afternoon city tour that finished at the Shanghai waterfront as the sun was setting.
I was lucky to capture a bride on another waterfront.

Shanghai, China – Old Jazz Bar at the Peace Hotel

Traveled to the Peace Hotel in old Shanghai for dinner.
This was followed by a live jazz performance by a band of octogenarian musicians.
A few beers and a sultry singer made for a good evening out

Shanghai, China – Shanghai Ocean Aquarium

I enjoyed my usual visit to the public aquarium of any city that I visit.
Had an enjoyable time exploring and photographing some of aquatic creatures.
Wrote it up for the American magazine Tropical Fish Hobbyist.
