Day 182 and at Mayfield Lavender Farm everything is starting to turn purple. As with everything else this year, the late spring means that only now are the flowers starting to come into the prime and it will still be a few days before harvesting can commence.

I'm hoping to go there this weekend, weather permitting.

At present, they close at 6:00 pm when the light is normally still a bit too harsh for my liking at this time of year. A public footpath runs through the middle and it is possible to park at Oaks Farm just across the road, so it is accessible at other times.

Of course, if the light is a bit on the bright side, you can always take shots of people gambolling in the field.
