Day 181 and a return visit to Nymans. Unusually, it was bright sunny day and most of my shots were in infrared to take advantage of the conditions. This shot is of the dovecote and there used to be some white doves which nested there, but which seem to have gone.

Canon EOS 450D converted to infrared, 720 nm filter
EF 17-40 f/4L USM
Focal length 19 mm
1/160 sec
f/8
ISO 200

Now that the leaves are more and more prominent on the trees I think the IR effect is working better.

It really works best when there is sunshine as well, but I also like the more subtle effects which are possible in less contrasty light. Just as well give the reluctance of the sun to make an appearance this summer.
