PAD 200 - Zoom Burst

Postby Mike Farley » Fri 19 Jul 2013, 19:50

Day 200 and I tried a new technique, well new to me - a zoom burst. The subject is some lavender and ideally I would have liked the centre part of the image to have a degree of sharpness, but conditions were a bit too windy for that.

Incredible, I am now at day 200, yet another milestone. The shot for day 199 will be coming shortly.

Interesting take on it, I've almost always seen this done using light trails/night shots and aT least 50% of those are of the London eye too!

Sharpness is an optional extra in this kind of thing though, I wouldn't worry :)

Thanks, Dave. I was not too unhappy with the result since it is as much about the shapes and colours as anything else. As you say, not much was ever going to be sharp in such an image. And at least I avoided making the London Eye my subject. ;)
