Day 213 and there are still Sweet Peas growing in the garden.
Canon EOS 7D
EF-S 17 - 55 f/2.8
Focal length 31 mm
8 secs
f/11
ISO 100
Polarising filter
Tripod
Cable release
Diffuser
I shot this with natural light and there is a reflection on the jug which I tried to remove, first with a polarising filter and then a diffuser held to the side. This reduced the reflection a bit, but not as much as I would have liked. The polarising filter did not really do much, other than turn the background a deep blue, which required adjustment during Raw processing to turn it black again. Mainly this consisted of reducing the Exposure, Shadows and Blacks and lightening the jug and flowers by boosting the Whites.
Some further experimentation is required, to include holding the diffuser in different positions and lighting the scene with multiple flash guns.
