PAD 251 - Colander Yin Yang

Day 251 and I experimented with firing a flash through the holes of a colander.
Canon EOS 7D
EF 100 f/2.8 macro
1/200 sec
f/9
ISO 100
Yongnuo YN560-II, 1/8 power

It's come out quite well, I'd been looking for a household object to try something similar too... didn't think of a colander

It would have been better if I had used a light source other than a flash as it would have been easier to position the shadow where I wanted it.

Can you not move the flash/colander?

Of course, but it is only possible to see the shadow once the shot is taken by looking at the rear screen, so getting the two in the right position is trial and error.
