Day 275 and an overnight stay in Canterbury. As with my previous visits, I have found the light within the cathedral to have a special quality to it.

Panasonic DMC-G3
Leica DG Summilux 25 f/1.4 (50 mm equivalent for 35 mm)
1/60 sec
f/4
ISO 3200

I am a long, long way behind with my posting and shall be attempting to catch up over the next few days.

I had wondered if you'd gotten bored and quietly given up :). Interesting that a place of worship lets you photograph inside.

I am still shooting, just not finding the opportunity to process and post. Selection and post processing is amazingly time consuming.

The cathedral, like many others, makes a lot of its income from tourism and currently charges around £10 for entry. Preventing photography would be counter productive in that regard. Services might well be a different matter. Canterbury Cathedral has one of its clergy say a short prayer from the pulpit on the hour and after he had finished the minister stayed for a couple of minutes, during which time I took this shot.
