PAD 276 - Potter's Hands

Day 276 and opposite the entrance to Canterbury Cathedral there has been a pottery for many years, having been started by the current owner's mother. In the back of the shop there is a potter's wheel and when he is not serving customers, the potter is making new pots. It is amazing just how quickly he can turn them out, but then he does have many years of experience!

Nice tones on the clay as it spins around. And your border - herein referred to as a Farley© border ;) - works nicely here.

Thanks, Paul. I like the idea of the Farley© border! :D

The potter is Richard Chapman and we have been visiting his shop for years. We have never come away without buying something.
