Yea, know what you mean!
Looks like it is the same building too.

I believe its very close to where David took his shot. Its all part of the More London set of buildings. Must visit there myself and capture the pavement which has a small gully of running water, great lead-in line!

Yes the shot was taken at More London, but I do not believe it is the exact same location. Like you, I believe David got his picture there, but on a couple of occasions I have tried to find the spot my quest has ended without success. This image was essentially a single snap which I took to compare with David's and when I got home found that it actually worked better than I had expected.

I took mine on southwark street, near the offices of amateur photographer coincidentally - not sure if that counts as More London or not? Certainly some of the buildings look familiar though

More London is the development adjacent to the southern end of Tower Bridge around City Hall. That would explain why I have not been able to find the location of Dave's image - I was looking in the wrong place.
This shot was taken half way down the walkway which has the water running along it in the gully. I took just the one photo as I walked along intending merely to compare it with Dave's, only to have it turn out to be the best shot of the day.
