Just thinking back to the recent problems at the CCC model photo shoot at the club..........

Yes. At the Fuji event it was made clear that there was no model release and we could not use the results in competition but could share them on social media etc. [EDIT} Sharing was also made subject to acknowledging that Wayne Johns had set up the shot and that the model was also acknowledged.[\EDIT] The primary purpose was to allow participants to get test shots in a controlled environment.

Unfortunately the problems with the last model shoot at the club occurred due to the organiser attempting to exert control by imposing a set of unrealistic conditions which inevitably created problems. In the end, I doubt if anyone involved was happy with the outcome.

What kind of problems/unrealistic conditions? And who was the organiser?

This is not really a topic for a public forum. I'll discuss it next time we meet.

At the end of the day, conditions for use of images from the CCC event are similar to that of Wayne Johns.
There were a lot of CCC members that needed to have a chance to take images individually so that they could engage with the model as they took their set of images, which made things a bit rushed. Additionally, each member did get two separate shoots. I did get a couple of half decent images.
Did Fugi participants in an over-crowded room take images from where they were sat or did they have a 2-3 minute individual session?
