The BBC has announced a new season of programmes on photography scheduled for the early New Year. Perhaps the highlight is a three part documentary series on the history of British photography by Eamonn McCabe. Something to look forward to in 2017.

Re: New BBC Four photography season
Hi Steve
Thanks for the heads up. I agree that the programmes by Eamonn McCabe would appear to have the greatest interest. A few years ago he was the speaker at the club's biennial Wratten Lecture and I enjoyed the talk he gave. At that time, he was still shooting film. His argument was that he had spent many years learning how to get the best from it and he was not about to dispense with all that hard won knowledge. I do not know if the same holds true today, but he was pretty adamant back then. Top man.
