Adobe is apparently raising Creative Cloud prices, citing adverse changes in exchange rates.

Re: Uh Oh
I've received an email from Adobe advising of the change. The £8.57 pm will change to £10.10 pm.
Unless, of course it was a scam! I'll not click the link to found out - I'll wait for it to appear on my card statement.

That's in line with a 20% depreciation of sterling following the Brexit vote. It is just one of the many things which are likely to become more expensive unless the pound recovers its lost value. That does not seem to be a realistic option in the short to medium term.

You can be sure that when GBP / USD rates improve that the price won't return to it's current rate in a hurry

To be fair to Adobe, the exchange rate has been at its current level for around 6 months and they have not acted in haste to increase the subscription rate. Given the uncertainty the forthcoming Brexit negotiations will engender, it is not likely that we see the pound return to its previous value any time soon. It might be a while before your theory can be tested, by which time there could be a completely different set of factors in the equation.
