Unfortunately David, I've decided to focus on birds & insects this year, and I wont be in Standard Class...

Though I've not yet checked those images on the computer - whether what my heatwave-addled-brain thought were decent shots on the camera screen are actually any good remains to be discovered.

You might want to consider some steam engine shots as well.

Out of 54 competition and exhibition entries during 2017/18 (including "... of the Year" entries) only 10 were railway related and not all of these featured steam engines!

Nature is my preferred subject (with 29 entries during 2017/18 including "... of the Year") but I'll use anything that I like and might earn me a good score.
