Derek Forss presented The Great British Landscape to our club members last night that I enjoyed very much.
There was a good turn out with some 30 members attending!
Derek presented a series of 8 AV presentations that included speech and music, most running to around the 10 min mark.
Some of these are available as YouTube presentations.
Below are four that we saw last night.
Enjoy,
Iggy

Re: The Great British Landscape by Derek Forss
Thanks, Iggy. I have watched the first one and, as usual, Derek's halting delivery is an acquired taste. It seemed to me that many of the images he included were over saturated and the majority of the the nominated locations are bettered elswehere.

Indeed - I was wondering whilst watching how our previous judge would have reacted to the greens.
Whilst I'm not sure he outright said it, I did infer from various comments Derek made that he's aware he over-saturates and is comfortable with it.

Hi Mike,
Derek's images in these presentations are his professional shots (chocolate box types) rather than the types that he enters in photographic competitions, which he did not show us any off.
I particularly liked "York at night" which was a short master class on taking images at night and bringing then to life in LightRoom.
