Mumbai, India - Taj Mahal Palace Hotel Complex
A Cancer Conference brought me to Mumbai, India in 2016.
I stayed at the plush Taj Mahal Hotel Complex overlooking the Gateway to India.
It was an ideal spot to get a taxi to the conference and the rest of the crowded city.
A Turbaned Sikh Doorman was happy enough for me to take his portrait.

Mumbai, India – A Fancy Carriage or just a Taxi
As night falls in Mumbai, fancy horse drawn carriages offer another option for travel.
Marine Drive, a 3.6-kilometre-long promenade along the sea front, is a popular destination.
There are always lots of regular taxis or chauffeur driven cars also available all the time.

Mumbai, India – The Gateway of India
The Gateway of India Mumbai attracts a huge number of Indian tourists every day.
Here, professional photographers print the holiday snaps on site for their customers.
A rather enjoyable boat ride around the bay gave me a different perspective of the Gateway.

Liking that set of images, you should do a club presentation of them (apologies if you have and I missed it).

Hello Paul,
Thank you for taking the time to reply which is much appreciated.
Glad you like some of my Mumbai images.
Just two more images to find and add to this Mumbai selection, possibly tomorrow.
I haven't yet decided where to take you all in March 2021!
One of the talks I gave was "Glimpses of Goa" showing Goan Cathedrals and Temples, beaches and more.
It was in 2018 when almost every club member, including you, gave a presentation.
Worked very well, as across the board, we all got to know each other much better.
Those were enjoyable days when we met up in person!
By the way, I am having fun posting a fair few images in PhotoCrowd competitions.
Please check them out at: https://www.photocrowd.com/photographer-community/245031/awards/
Thanks.

Mumbai, India - Walking Around
Exploring near the Taj hotel, the bearded saree shop owner kindly agreed to his portrait being taken.
The Chhatrapati Shivaji Vastu Sangrahalaya Museum documents the history of India from prehistoric to modern times.
Because of the huge queues, only had time to grab a snapshot of a small part of the outside of the lovely building.
