The Bluebell Railway Line's annual Southern at War WWII re-enactment event always offers a lot of photographic opportunities and we had a successful club outing there three years ago. Having attended a similar venture at the Watercress Line last year, I found the Bluebell's offering to be superior.

This year's event is on the weekend of 11/12 May. I am hoping to be able to get there on the Saturday, but I am not entirely certain if I can make it as the dates clash with other things in my schedule. I have posted here in case other members are interested and want to organise something.

Re: Bluebell Line - Southern at War
I did manage to get to the Bluebell Line today for the Southern at War re-enactment event. Most of the action was at Horsted Keynes station, where I got this shot of a nurse enjoying a joke. The weather could have been kinder as while it was fairly warm and sunny during the morning, it turned cold and wet during the afternoon. One of the joys of this type of event is that those who have come along in period costume are quite unfazed by being photographed and provide plenty of opportunities.
