bbq outing

Postby walterconquy » Tue 27 May 2014, 19:37

Dear all, why is my 2007 bbq served at my house stated as Tony's at his house. Its obvious that it was at my house as I am the one trying to light my fire and I am the one doing all the cooking and salivating-----is somebody there. Wally

Gosh, Wally, that was a slow burner. You have waited the best part of seven years to make a comment about an inaccurate caption on the club's website. :!: :!: :!:

If you ask Ashley, he can make the necessary amendment.

Slow burner indeed. I've just checked and the caption has not changed. I remember noticing 7 years ago that a few of the pictures were actually taken by me, but i didn't make an issue of it. :D

The caption will not change unless someone informs Ashley. Not that it seems to be urgent.

DEAR ASHLEY, I HAVE JUST READ THE REPLIES TO MY COMMENT IN MAY THIS YEAR, NOT TOO LATE AM I ? I HAD NOT NOTICED ANYBODY TALKING ABOUT IT BEFORE.
AS I HARDLY EVER READ MUCH OF THESE FORUMS ( WHICH I SHALL FROM NOW ON , BELIEVE ME ) I AM TITILATED THAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY READ WHAT I SAY. ANYWAY ASH I AM HEARTBROKEN THAT ALL THIS TIME MY BBQ OF 2007 HAS BEEN COMMENTED UPON AS TONY'S, MIND YOU IF IT WENT BADLY I DON'T MIND AT ALL, BUT IF IT WENT WELL I WOULD LIKE THE KUDOS. MANY THANKS FOR YOUR MASTERFUL WORK IN PUTTING THIS LOT TOGETHER WALLY ps I tried to put a smiling face on this epistle and all I got was this. posting.php?mode=reply&f=4&t=990#

Wally, it would probably be best to contact Ashley directly if you really want this resolved.
