The Merlion

Another day, another shot of the Singapore skyline but this time with a well known tourist attraction. Legend has it the Merlion, half-lion half-fish,was created in the 70s to give an iconic sight for Japanese tourists to photograph. At least that's what our guidebook says! This was shot at dusk as you can see and was handheld, I'm sure in the years to come I'll be back there with a tripod to get a lower ISO version of it and to properly blur the water. Annoyingly a ton of great clouds just drifted out of shot!
