This is the winner of the U30 award in the latest RPS International Print Exhibition. Hmmm, I wonder what the others were like and how it would fare in a club competition?

Was Martin Parr on the judging panel?
I can't help but feel I have nothing in common with the RPS at all

There is much less of this kind of nonsense in the Members' Exhibition. I am not sure why the RPS persists in awarding the top honours in the International Print Exhibition to such contemporary style images which have a limited appeal. I regularly used to complain about it at the RPS stand at Focus On Imaging, but have given it up as being completely wasted effort.
