- Waterfalls, Brecon Beacons has lots of the them! This map covers most - http://www.breconbeacons.org/all_downlo ... ry-map.pdf. The Four Falls walk or the Elidir Trail look like a good options. (40 mins drive)
Only a 10 min drive away is The Skirrid, a hill climb with great views and only a 2 hour circular walk - http://www.walkingenglishman.com/wales08.html
Another walk at Llyn y Fan Fach has spectacular views on a 5km walk (1h 20m drive) - http://www.discovercarmarthenshire.com/ ... -y-fan.pdf
There is also picturesque Llangorse Lake and Llanthony Priory a lovely ruin among the valleys, both 30 mins drive.
For something underground there is the National Showcaves Centre for Wales - http://www.showcaves.co.uk/ (1hr drive)
If we get clear night skies we could go out for some star gazing/photography as the whole park is classed as a Dark Sky Reserve - more info here http://www.breconbeacons.org/stargazing
