Brecon Beacons trip locations

Postby Paul Heester » Mon 08 Sep 2014, 18:54

Ive put together some location ideas below for our trip and hope others contribute their own locations to this thread. Also tried to list the distance by car from our base at Hopyard Farm.

I will print out some of these maps to bring along.

Paul

Thanks for doing this. I know that Nina has found some places in the Llanvihangel Crucorney area which she will tell people about. I also made some suggestions for locations in the original thread - the Gospel Pass to the north of Llanvihangel Crucorney is a very attractive area and has a lot of potential.

Paul thanks for doing that for us. I particularly like the waterfalls and the night sky part.
Looking forward to next week. Wally

Don't forget to look up!

I have just returned from an astronomy event in Brecon Beacons. Wonderful dark skies. If you get a clear night how about a few shots including the Milky Way?

(Sorry I can't join you - I am on holiday in USA)
