Future of DSLRs

Thom Hogan's view about what the future holds for DSLRs. According to him, DSLRs are becoming more specialist and for many mirrorless cameras are now good enough. If Canon and Nikon want continue selling DSLRs, then they need to do something radical.* In the meantime, mirrorless cameras will continue to improve, especially in the one are where they are weakest, continuous AF.

* Given the iterative nature of both Canon's and Nikon's latest releases, that seem unlikely to me.
