POTD 19 January 2015 - The People You Meet

I popped down to Chartwell as I had a new camera which I wanted to try out and this is the first "proper" shot I got with it. The BBC were there making a programme about Winston Churchill. I saw the crew come arond a corner and were followed by the presenter who stopped to say "hello" and obligingly posed for a few seconds for this snap before his next take.

The subject of this shot has a history of dabbling with activities for which he has little expertise, photography included. It has to be said that in terms of public acclaim, the dancing was more successful.
