I found an interesting sounding short course on Time Lapse Photography that I thought other members might be interested in and I have attached a condensed version of the course details I was provided with below. The cost is £45 for 5 lessons starting in April 2015 and I have signed up for this (I was also advised that there are currently still places available).

Learn how to set up, light, create movement, distort, stitch, photograph and make a short video sequence.
Location: Brockley Rise Centre, Brockley Rise, Crofton Park, SE23 1PR
Starts:23 April 2015 - Ends:21 May 2015
Number of weeks 5, Day of the week:Thursday: 7pm - 9pm
Cost:£45.00 (full), £22.50 (reduced), £22.50 (concession)
How to enrol
No prior knowledge or experience is necessary to enrol on this course. Learning Goals: To understand the difference between time lapse photography and stop motion animation. To create and capture a moving clouds time lapse. To understand how to achieve the best results. To identify and achieve a personal goal as discussed with your tutor. The tutor will use a range of teaching methods during the course which will include the following: Demonstration - both group and individual, one to one tuition, group work, assessment of progress, observation, discussion / question and answer sessions.
What do I need to bring to the first class? Digital camera or mobile device that can be used to photograph images.
Additional information: Where possible the sessions for this course will take place in the media space where you will be given access to use apple computers. This is a practical class, please wear suitable clothing including enclosed footwear. CEL cannot be held responsible for any items including work, materials, tools, etc. left by the learnerin our workrooms.

I did a workshop on this with the guys at work here, I do enjoy it It's also possible to achieve for certain Canon users without any extra equipment, you just need to download magic lantern to unlock the feature on your camera. Also, if people have the triggertrap app and dongle for their phone you can achieve it that way too. Definitely worth having a go.
