I am pleased to say a number of photos I took back in November 2014 are on exhibition at ‘The Camera Club’ in Kennington of which I am a member. They had sent notices several times but I have been so busy shooting elsewhere I didn’t take too much notice until I went to the AGM on Saturday 21st Feb and saw the prints framed, hanging on the wall. I am chuffed to say the least.
The exhibition runs from 9th Feb to 7th March.At the AGM it was agreed to let the gallery be used by outside groups a number of times a year. This may be of interest to ‘Croydon Camera Club’?
It may be a good idea if some people went to visit it and see the fully fitted Gallery space for themselves. The hire fees, from what I have been told are very reasonable. I don’t at this stage know what they are. The place is open from 10am to 10pm weekday and 5pm weekends. The website details are: http://thecameraclub.co.uk/
I am in discussion with the Gallery exhibition co-ordinator to do two solo exhibitions later this year (possibly one in June and another on October). Two of the projects I have been working on are going well so it will be a good challenge to raise the quality another notch or two by the time for printing comes. I have put-in a lot of work over the last six months. It’s literally been 24/7. Time to see if it has been worthwhile.
