Re: Photoshop Presentation?

There is a definite demand for more information about using layers and I'll look into what can be done. Regarding Ros' points about cutting out thinngs like fur and hair, there are optional paid for plug-ins which are supposed to help, but professionals use tablets for greater control and lots of time. They also get photographers to shoot the subject against plain white backgrounds, which makes life far easier for post capture processing. I'll see whether there are any useful tips available which can help. Any presentation will be done with Photoshop Elements, which unlike the full version of Photoshop CC does not support 3D, so this will not be included. In any event, it is not relevant to the work typically produced by members at the club and it is not a topic I have ever felt the need to investigate.

At present, I do not feel that there is enough support to justify scheduling an entire evening, but it could be included with something else at one of the regular Members' Nights. I will draw up a list of potential topics when I have a moment and see whether this generates any further interest.
