If the perfect camera bag does really exist, I have yet to find it and I know that I am far from alone in that view. Here is Mike Johnston's take at The Online Photographer, which includes a link to a YouTube video featuring David Alan Harvey who seems to have tried just about every camera bag ever made. And found them all wanting, with the exception of the one which bears his name. Possibly.

We, of course, had our own camera bag thread right here on this forum a while back. Somehow, a discussion about choosing camera gear to take away on holiday morphed into a bag thread. On the basis of Rose's suggestion, it is now possible that the Tamrac Evolution 8 is now the most popular bag in the club. I took it with me to Photographica and it managed to swallow the kit I wanted to carry and still had space for the doorstop, AKA Vivitar Series 1 70-210, I purchased there.
