Chelsea Flower Show
I have just returned from a very enjoyable day at this classic event. As you would imagine, there were lots of crowds, TV crews and photographers. Mostly Canons and Nikons were being sported, although I did see the occasional Sony and Panasonic, and even a solitary Fuji X-T1.

Is this documenting another XT-1 user in the wild? You should enter it in the Nature competition

The guy was almost certainly shooting with a Canon, which seemed to be the weapon of choice of all the photographers allowed within the hallowed grounds of the show gardens. One of those I observed had a 28-135, which has a useful range but was never one of Canon's better regarded lenses, mounted on the camera. I even spotted someone with a press pass and a 500D replete with kit lens around her neck. The sole person I saw with a Fuji X-T1 was in the marquee and almost certainly a visitor. Unfortunately, it took me by surprise and I lost the opportunity to snap a Fuji user in the wild. Or at least as close to nature as it gets within the tamed and manicured confines of Chelsea.

The BBC's Gardeners' World team was out in force and this is the ever popular Monty Don presenting a segment, shown here in full flow. There were a crowd of women of a "certain age" watching from the sidelines and I was the only man amongst them. I pushed off after I had got my shot, but he did walk past my wife later on. It probably made her day.
