Another trip to the Wetlands Centre in Barnes disappointed as much as usual with a lack of birds of the world and the free flying resident and visiting birds seemingly having found better feeding and nesting grounds.
However, I did manage to take 138 pictures some of which I've included here:
1: I seem so have taken as many photographs of flowers as I did of birds. This is, I think, a Sweet Briar, a member of the Rose family
2: "Grand Canyon" - well, not exactly. It's a tree stump with rotted channels.
3: A Mallard shot out of nowhere and I was lucky to get this.

A few more:
4: A Greylag Goose. This bird was having a ball bathing but I don't know why it suddenly launched itself (unless the Tufted Duck got a little too close). A shame about the right wing being slightly cuf off
5: Iris
6: Another Sweet Briar
