A student made a video of herself hanging upside down by her ankle from a tree while naked, apparently to demonstrate helplessness, or something. Whether intentional or not, she was unable to free herself and remained suspended for around three and a half hours before a friend came to the rescue. The payoff came later when the video was chosen for the Bloomberg New Contemporaries exhibition, which makes her one of the top 37 art students graduating in the UK. A Turner Prize winner in the making, for sure. You heard it here first.
