Thanks, Graham. I had been waiting until the New Year in case there were any last minute takers. Our party has increased by one as my friend Malacolm, who was with us four years ago, will be coming again.

The tickets have been purchased for the services shown below on 19 March. Unfortunately after a number of years the £7-50 fare no longer exists and the cheapest I was able to obtain was £10-50 each way. However, I used the NEC discount booking scheme which gives a 25% discount, which reduces the cost to £7-85 each way, making a total of £15-70 for each person travelling apart from Graham C who only wanted a ticket one way to Birmingham. To qualify for the discount, those going on this trip will need to pre-purchase a show ticket, but that's cheaper than buying on the door.

I will hand out tickets once I have obtained them from the ticket machine at my local station.

The train times are:

London, Euston to Birmingham International: Depart 9:43, arrive 10:53

Birmingham International to London, Euston:
Depart 18:40, arrive 19:56

Each person going is responsible for making their own arrangements to travel to and from Euston.

Rose

Thanks for the PAGB ad; could be useful for some.

It would have been helpful if you could have included the link for the e-mail.

Thanks, David, that could be very useful as I could not make the PAGB workshop last year.

Sorry David... I didn't spot the lack of email.  Rod posted this on FaceBook and I contacted him there via PM. I don't actually have an email address for him... but someone in the Club might ?? :?: :?:

I also messaged Rod via Facebook, as that is how he suggested he wanted to be contacted, but he simply responded by asking me to send him an e-mail. At least that means I now have his address, which I will PM to anyone who requires it.

I am now booked in for a session between 3-4. If I do apply for a distinction, I would prefer to submit prints so I will be taking smaller A4 versions. It would be a bit awkward taking mounted A3 prints on the train.

There is an opportunity to have one of your shots displayed at the show. There is a seasonal theme, which will be Spring on the day when we will be visiting. Further details are at the link below.

A reminder that prepaid entry tickets to the show can still be bought and are required to qualify for the 25% discount I obtained on the train fares. For anyone fortunate enough to be under the age of 60 I can provide a discount code for a £3 reduction of the standard adult entry. The reduced prices currently on offer will expire on 16 March.
