I'm certainly interested in a trip to Dorset although I am worried about cost.

I've visited Weymouth a couple of times (the RSPB reserve and a walk along the shore towards the harbour). The Abbotsbury Swannery is a place I'd like to visit as well as Swanage and the steam railway.

The end of September is not the best time for the Swannery as the swans are starting to move down the Fleet towards Weymouth. They are only at the Abbotsbury end during the summer months as the cygnets cannot cope with salty water when first hatched and the lagoon is being supplied with fresh water from the surrounding hills. April has the possibility of seeing swans standing over their nests and revealing their eggs, while May is a good as the cygnets are starting to hatch. Cue lots of cute shots hiding under mum's legs or riding on her back. :)

Mind you, all that said, the Swannery is a favourite place and it is enjoyable at any time.

I am interested. Don't know whether it would be for a single or double - will decide once we have a date. Any time in October is good for me other than the final weekend.

Hi Keith,
We could also do with a date as our weekends are starting to fill up and we wouldn't want to miss this trip.
Many thanks

I haven't seen Keith at the club in a while, although I have missed a couple of evenings myself.
Hope all is well.

Keith won this year's Mees Trophy in the "DPI of the Year" competition. I, too, have been thinking for a while that a date needs to be set if this trip is going ahead.

Keith has been away on holiday. Perhaps he will be at the club tonight.
