Blast, I forgot to follow my own advice and I spent a few minutes looking at some of my photos on the new iMac earlier today. Yes, they look (even more?*) gorgeous on that display, but given the differences in contrast ratios and illumination for monitor and prints, I do wonder whether any print could ever compare to how the image looks when viewed on a high quality screen.

* Biased? Me? Well, maybe a little.
