Camera competition

Postby davidc » Wed 07 Oct 2015, 02:59

The website FroKnowsPhoto is doing a camera competition offering either a D810, 5DS or A7RII - all you need to do is enter with an email address to his mailing list, but you can do so then cancel immediately.

And yes, his podcast is going to be up for review soon too, though I know of one person here who says he's not to their taste :)

Still, free camera!

Undoubtedly long odds, but I see that you are increasing your chances of winning. ;)

Statistically, gaining extra entries into such a sweepstake by inviting others to partake does not increase your chances of winning since their entry will offset those which you gain. If they then go on to refer others, your chances will lessen as the size of the size overall entry increases, lengthening the odds. Your best chance lies in keeping participation as low as possible. Still, it's a lottery which is free and the chance of winning is already small enough that for any individual the eventual outcome will in all probablity remain unchanged.
