Luminous Landscape's Review of the Year

Despite its recent introduction of a subscription model, Luminous Landscape has published a number of articles recently which are not behind the paywall. It is worthwhile keeping an eye on it even if there is no intention of paying for content. The latest article looks at the new gear which was introduced during 2015, which has been a fairly quiet year for Nikon and Canon especially. Maybe there will be fireworks in 2016, which is a Photokina year. One camera which comes in for particular praise is the new Leica SL, both from Luminous Landscape and elsewhere. It might be a large camera, particularly when the 24-90 lens is mounted, but it balances well in the hand and does not seem overly heavy in use.
