ProAm Printing

Postby Iggy » Tue 26 Jan 2016, 13:09

Just wondering if anyone is sending off any images for printing to any company that I could tag on a few images to save on postage.
Thanks,
Iggy

Snappy Snaps in Croydon charge £5 per A4 print. Is there anywhere in Croydon that can do it cheaper?

Yes, I also need to order a couple of images from Pro Am. Do you have an account with them (if not I do!). How soon were you thinking of ordering?

Hi Iggy,

You could try DigiLab in West Norwood. £4.14 for A4 colour laser printing, similar quality paper to ProAm. See http://www.digilablondon.com/Products/C-Type-Prints/.

They are the first people I used before the much cheaper ProAm was recommended. You can just pop in and they will probably be able to do it while you are there, you can guide them on any colour/cropping adjustments.. They also do prints of fine art paper (smooth or textured) using 'giclee' printing. This is more money, but not so much more than the colour laser, A4 would be £ 6.54 with VAT. See http://www.digilablondon.com/Products/Giclee-printing/.

See http://www.digilablondon.com/Contact.aspxfor contact details and general information.

Cheers,

Graham

I just need the one image for the Nature Competition.
However there is at least one other competition requiring new images. So I could go to a total of 6, ready for some time early next week.
I will check with a couple of others (Bett, Jeff, Jackson) by email to see if they want to join in, which I will do now.
Talk soon.

Graham,
Thanks for suggesting the local DigiLab in West Norwood that offers immediate prints in an emergency.

Ok, we now have 3 CCC members clubbing together for sending of images to ProAm on Monday 1st Feb.

Five A4 or 8x20 inch images including postage will only cost ~ £5.
