There are two exhibitions near Oxford Circus that I saw earlier in the week and would like to recommend:
1) 'Creative in Focus' at the Getty Images Gallery, near Oxford Circus (46 Eastcastle Street W1W 8DX)
It's free, not very big, but there are some really excellent surrealist shots. It runs to the 26th March.
2) 'Saul Leiter' at the Photographers' Gallery (5th floor) 16–18 Ramillies Street, London W1F 7LW
Not very far away on the other side of Oxgford Street is an exhibition of Saul Leiter's photography and art work; "I don't have a philosophy, I have a camera", an innovative New York photographer (1923-2013) who's being increasingly respected for his early work with colour film. Pricing: Free before 12 noon, £2.50/£2 advance booking, £3/£2.50 on door - Runs to the 3rd April. I also recommend a visit to the downstairs book shop for those who haven't been to this gallery before.
