Stepped out into the garden to put some food out for the sparrows and there was our robin having a sing-off with neighbouring robins in other gardens. I finally spotted him high up in a leafless tree.
I rushed upstairs to pick up my Panasonic FZ1000 with its 24 to 400mm lens.
Our robin moved to a closer bush to sing for me. For the last two months it has been tweeting when it sees me.
The robin then moved back to the high position and carried on singing.
What a delight!
