S37-Low Tide at Southend-on-sea
Spent the evening at Southend-on-sea on our way to France via an early morning flight.
Sunset was much further to my right, over the town and unassailable.
The tide was out exposing the sea bed that offered lots of contrasts.
Shot from our cliff top hotel window that gave a wide view of the beach front.

S40-First Violinist - Anatomy of the Orchestra
Found out at the last minute about Anatomy of the Orchestra performing in the Foyer of the recently re-opened, newly re-furbished Fairfield Halls that was part of the Open House London initiative. The audience and I were encouraged to walk around the musicians perched on mini platforms that enabled me to photograph them for various angles. Low light and interfering background were challenges to overcome. I stayed on for both performances even though they were 1.5 hrs apart. A rather enjoyable shoot.
